About the Role

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. You are employed by Securitas but work under the police authority's regulations. Your primary task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives. You do this through your presence in public places, which hopefully has a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act.

Securitas has varied assignments that create a significant impact on other people's lives, and here you have the opportunity to make a real difference!

This position is suitable for you who enjoy working with people and want to make a socially important contribution. We have a strong community and a broad experience among our colleagues that allows us to handle most situations. As a security guard with us, you will become a key person in creating safety and security for people in an environment characterized by meetings, diversity, and respect. The current assignment primarily involves stationing at one of our clients. You will be based with the client in Malmö and will mainly work 12-hour shifts either day or night.

Requirements

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a calm and stable person who can maintain composure even when a lot is happening around you. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but you also understand the responsibility of your role and can remain objective when required. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You have a security guard training and a valid security guard permit
• At least 2 years of experience as a security guard
• You have passing grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have passing grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
